Not really a show (there is an anime though), but I've seen a lot of mangaka saying that Bakuman is quite realistic on how to make and to sell a manga in Japan, and how the industry works.

Pas vraiment des auteurs de BD, mais beaucoup de mangaka trouvent que le manga Bakuman est très réaliste sur comment on fait et on commercialise un manga au Japon

Assez d'accord, il y a plein d'énormités mais j'ai jamais vu une série traité ce sujet avec autant de sérieux et sans être caricatural

Ouf! Je suis rassuré ! On devrait lui filer une augmentation avec son petit salaire et tout ce stress a cause des licenciements ça doit pas être facile pour lui

Again I agree people should be more interested about how it's difficult to make game and what they costs but here I see people trying to trash the game (not you ofc) because it has 400+ people on the credits which normal when you have a publisher and even small indies that manage to get one.

It's not that bad he's just saying that he played the early version of the game and he thought they are gonna be successful. He's not even comparing them. Ok you don't make Clair Obscur in your garage alone in six weeks but nobody said that

+ I see people being disappointed by the fact that the game costs money to make. I mean it's not that difficult to understand, having 30 people working for 4 years on a game is already a budget over a million $

I don't see anyone comparing Clair Obscur with Cryptmaster or Blue Prince. I feel like the narrative is more about about how a small group of people can produced something that can be compared to big productions

I see your point and I agree but I don't feel like this is the narrative around this game. I mean everybody can see that this game costs money from the first image of the game. Media are talking about a small team making a AAA looking game and that is true.

About the money, making a video game cost a ton of money we all know that especially to make this kind of games. Why, as players, can't we just be happy of playing a great game made by people who respect and love this art as much as we do?

Balatro's credits is 100+ people and everyone is saying that it is a solo dev game (which is it of course). Obviously when we are talking about 30 people it's production, so why with this game is it problem?
