Adobe have a track record of buying out companies with software i have loved, and destroying them. Freehand, Go Live, Fireworks, Contribute, Typekit etc. Their Metrics tool was always a pain to use too.
Very happy I switched to Affinity. Glad I dropped the increasingly overpriced SEMrush too.
