We just hit a milestone in our exploration of signal-based forms in Angular - our prototype is now merged into the main repository.
This opens the door for some important next steps like compiler integration & interop w/ existing forms.

When open source projects reject a PR, we're not doing it out of animus. Many times people create PRs with valuable changes, and while correct, would break so many people that we can't land it without a massive effort. We can't always commit to that. A lot of factors go into these decisions.

Don't sleep on #NativeFederation as an alternative to #ModuleFederation for #MicroFrontends. It's very cool to see a bundler-agnostic path to supporting this use case!
Achievement unlocked: The @angular team published my article on their blog. Our goal was to provide a calm overview of the benefits and drawbacks. After that, I explain why the Angular team is not officially supporting this approach and how selected community solutions can help.
Micro Frontends with Angular and Native Federation
Enterprise-scale software systems are often implemented by several cross-functional teams. To enable such teams to provide new features…

🥁 Angular has survived multiple framework waves and is now coming into a new era... but so much happened in its 15+ year history! As we all know, the path has been windy.
Now there's a documentary about it! As always, Honeypot tells a great story:
