It seems to me that Freeports are all about the transfer of public money into private hands and increasing the value of land for existing owners…?

There are people who try and find out more about Freeports, SEZs erc but any FOI requests are invariably resisted with anything released being heavily redacted. Should we be suspicious? Oh yes.

Somewhat ironic given he couldn’t decide whether to be for or against Brexit before he thought Brexit would be beneficial to him. That he’s writing this bile could mean he’s a Ru55ian asset and it would explain a lot. KS’ investigation into Ru55ian influence should go a lot further.

Thanks. I’ll need to find out if this is the case in Scotland, but it’ll be a problem as the person inheriting any proceeds doesn’t currently have the money to pay the council tax, so we’d need to appeal.

As Executor, I’m only asking market value using guidance given by the local selling agent. The valuation advice can be ‘misguided’ of course. I just want to sell the damn place and move on.

In Scotland, if the house is ‘for sale’ and demonstrably on the market my experience is that you don’t pay a premium but you still pay council tax, but you have to let the local council know that the property is for sale. Paying the council tax still irks because no-one is using the facilities.

Wouldn’t the Denmark team be acting unethically in accepting this funding and conducting this, err, research? Can they be penalised in some way?

Good. It seems that everyone considers BBC reporting / some programming (e.g. QT) to be biased in some way. It’s not just ‘government’ influence though, is it? More like ‘political’ influence in general.

Unfortunately I’ve got to the point where I can’t stand listening to KS. White noise, Much like Orange Man and Frog Face. Surely I’m not the only one, and I’m guessing that’s a bad sign. I’m not a Labour supporter but I had such high hopes when KS became leader. He’s wasted any mandate he had.

I suspect that many within the Environment Agency are frustrated that the Water Companies get away with so much rampant pollution, severely impacting the wider marine ecosystem. As you say, criminal.

This is so sad. So many people will lose out. All because of the UK government’s anti-immigration stance? To reduce the number of ‘less important’ degrees? All forms of HE & degrees are important & contribute to UK’s rich culture. I’m sick of the constant bashing of people wanting further education.

Sadly, I think this government is doing everything it can to stifle growth and knacker prospects for people trying to better themselves. All because they ‘don’t like’ poor migrants/immigrants. Scrub that. They don’t like the poor and vulnerable. Full stop. Depressing.
