Local TCG tournament/vendor con this saturday was pretty cool! Went 1-2 in tournament (one loss was just a huge brawl that didn't go in my favor, the other loss I had five pilots in my hand by turn 3 and a whole 1 body on board) buuuut had a blast. To the next locals!

Been playing Da Gundam Game after collecting a small pile of cards. Went to my first release event on Friday and got a box and the new starter, got some good pulls, and took 1st in a local today. Game's pretty fun and the community is super chill.

Also had some fun things come in in the mail, and something fun I put together for my SO!

Oh yeah, last weekend I went to a little Gamer Festival that. Was basically a vendor hall and it was highkey mid as hell, but I got some fun pickups there including pulling some fun stuff from Gundam TCG packs. That Gundam resource card got my picture on a vendor's Facebook page, lmao

Finished up another kit, this time the HG Bocata's Gelgoog, and got it posed with the Sugai version. Super happy with how this turned out! I am no longer allowed to build anything else until I've finished the decals on Astray. #gunpla #plamo #gquuuuuux

PROGRESS. The Tactical Arms II-L is extremely silly at this scale. Only two-ish pages left to go and then it's Decal Hell Time!

Wrapped up the other hand and built the swords/scabbards, so the main body is Done. At this point, all thats left is a bit more cleanup work on the hands (a pox on bamco for putting 29 nubs to clean up on such a delicate part), the shield, and the Tactical Arms II L. Then decals!

8 hours of fugue state and two arms came out on the other end. the hands took me out of it (BANDAI FOR THE LOVE OF FUCKING GOD PLEASE STOP DOING THIS WITH THE HANDS PLEASE)

Still gotta clean up and line the already assembled hand, just the other remaining one and the body is completely assembled!

Chest and head completed, moving right along. The head having a bespoke LED unit that you build yourself was a bit of a surprise! Manual wants weapons done next, but I think I'll start the arms and break up the assembly with the weaponry/shields.

Waist done, on to the chest. So much detail on the inner frame... It would be so easy to just leave it untouched with how much of it is sure to get covered up, but where's the fun in that?

Leg assembly and panel lining completed! That took abouuuut... 17-18 hours. Lot of inner frame detailing that needed to be done. On to the waist soon!

Couple hours is enough to get through... barely a page. I'm reminded of the Kotobukiya ACs I've built with how many parts can go into a single step of assembly. Bit more to go and the legs will be done, then on to the waist unit!

Fun fact, I forgot a polycap in one of the lower leg assemblies and didn't discover this until I went to connect it to the upper leg. Cue frustrated disassembly...

PG Astray Red Frame Kai build thread - the beginninging.

This is definitely going to be a slowboat build, managing runners alone feels like a challenge due to the quantity... but I'm super looking forward to this build! Feets are done thus far!

HG Police Zaku completed! super fun and breezy build, though I *highly* recommend waterslides for this kit to avoid the struggle of dealing with the raised details (and recommend applying them before assembly, specifically on the thigh pipes). Solid 9/10, would build again. #gunpla #plamo

While I wait for decals for the police zaku, starting a kit I won in an ichiban kuji a while ago - the RG God Gundam solid clear version. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm only one leg in and while cleaning up clear parts is a pain, this kit is *slick* already.

HG ACAB Zaku assembly completed, just waiting on waterslides I ordered to arrive so I can finish this kit. Super super satisfying build, and while the articulation is a smidge rough (definitely wants an action base!) it isnt too hard to overlook that with how nice the kit looks!
