Transformers collecting is cool because sometimes you get a toy loose on the cheap coz it's missing a part and then you go to look up how much it would be to get that part and you get to discover that their are people in this world with the balls to ask $30 for a tiny stick of plastic.

Won't be able to make it back out to Retro Toy Con because I have another commitment today so here's my haul! Had an excellent time as always, an acquaintance I was talking to last night went so far as to describe the show as magical and I'm somewhat inclined to agree. Can't wait for the next one.

Was shopping at Retro Toy Con when something in the hotel kitchen set off the fire alarm and while we were waiting in the lobby for the all clear (which was given) i bumped into Jeremy Jirard of the Four Horsemen. Super cool dude, actually asked me a lot of questions about my Legions collection!

Batman/Deadpool was good, but not as good as the marvel version imo. I'm just not much for Morrison these days and while it was neat to see Wilson write Kamala again and the same for Taylor and Laura, none of the stories felt as strong as some of the ones we got last time round on their own.

Wonder Woman #27 ruled. Everytime King hits the "no thank you" beat in this series he outdoes the last one and the scene of the little girl fighting back against the programing was just delightful. There's a spoiler early on that is classic King though so it probably put another few folks off lol

The Twilight Zone #2 was pretty meh. Not a terrible premise but man was the dialogue overwritten and it only kinda fits the format so I have to wonder if Scioli only knows of the show and hasn't watched much.

Batman/Superman World's Finest #45 was a fun start to a story I'm surprised has never been done before, "Lex & Joker merge into one guy" is such silver age energy. There's some nice character work and a few good gags but man, I love how Gutierrez draws Joker, someone get them on a mainline bat book.
