I don’t think that’s mutually exclusive with discipline worthy behavior. If your instinct is to shove, and you can’t reign your “instincts” in when you see numbers, you are playing recklessly. Your instinct when a guy jaws you is probably to clock him but that’s still assault.

Dangerous and Reckless are hand in hand here. Whether to reason for it was carelessness or not he made a very dirty and unnecessary play and should’ve been suspended.

I just don’t think this is true. Look at the arms, 96 fully extends the check with his head up to launch Romanov into the boards. Dirty as hell.
