When politicians/political parties are beholden to donations- in whatever form, then payback is expected.

Whatever ever happened to ‘DAY ONE’?

How will they know the mileage you have done? If it’s predicated on when a MOT is due. Opens up many questions, a new car needs no MOT for 3 years..
November 27, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Agreed, though what media are they going to use? It’s always been the case when there has been a Labour government, now compounded by the interest and all its concentrations of disinformation..
November 27, 2025 at 2:46 PM
That argument can be said of any government and any statistic they decide to publish. There is much going on that we are not given any information on. Though that which we are is disputed, if you don’t believe any statistics then…

Though those that go through the whole food hygiene process do not have to post their score, hence why you only see 5 stars.
November 24, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Though does this principle not apply to most if not all prioritisations ?
November 23, 2025 at 7:30 PM
Doah! It’s payback time for those who donated ( aka corruption) to Trumps campaign- that’s how democracy works in the west. He who pays the piper!
November 23, 2025 at 5:58 PM
A leopard does not change its spots. She has known about the files for over a decade, though made a conscious decision to support Trump. This is all performative- she is a Republican- and therefore complicit in all its corruption.

Universal health care, where no one goes bankrupt due to not being able to pay their health bills.USA, 640k went bankrupt, Europe 0. Bloody socialism- real bummer!
November 23, 2025 at 1:14 PM
That applies to both parties as both are funded (donations- aka corruption). Such donations are not given for nothing- pay back is expected. Until all parties are publicly funded and donations a criminal offence, such replies will continue. The status quo of party funding/democracy is not working.

I’m sure he will disagree and not recognise the detail and context.

Now people are ( according to the polls) looking to put a very similar character in Downing Street, just the initials change NF. Money, big money always gets its way

Yet they continue to have a voice in the msm, no personal accountability, just a shrug of the shoulders, awaiting the next consultancy assignment.
November 20, 2025 at 9:01 PM
That’s their opinion!
November 20, 2025 at 7:32 PM
Why are rich individuals and corporations allowed to influence party politics by donating ( aka corruption). In any other form of employment, it would be seen as that- corruption. What is the point of elections if policy is all ready bought and paid for?
November 19, 2025 at 12:59 PM
In any negotiations, size matters. One individual will not be able to negotiate with these health providers, they will get the bare minimum at a cost the HP, believes they can get away with. Ever thought of universal health care, works well in Europe?
November 18, 2025 at 10:11 PM
Nick, it takes longer the 18 months to correct 14 years, yes, 14 years of austerity- ie public sector slashing. Maybe you don’t want to discuss those 14 years, which is very apparent!
November 18, 2025 at 12:40 PM
Dead cat maybe, though Farage has many questions to answer on the purchase of a house in Clacton? Though he won’t be.
November 18, 2025 at 11:30 AM
When will there be a grown up conversation about immigration, facts rather than emotion and racism?
November 17, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Words are meaningless to Trump, judge him on his actions.
