So, it's not an AI thing, but how Google's summary results when doing a search has always worked. They should absolutely blacklist said journals, but currently, this just seems to be the same thing as how Google searches have always worked.

This doesn't appear to be an AI thing. You did successfully get it published in a predatory journal, which is (at least prior to your post here and the article from The Decoder about this post) the top result when searching the subject. So it's pulling that summary from the journal article you wrote

It also for some reason took accounts mentioned in the bio section, such as people saying who made their avatar image, to mean that that account was the artist themselves. Which is obviously wrong.

Though there's probably at least a couple false positives. I went through the Bridge manually and found that at least 5% of those it suggested weren't actually the right account (and often weren't even furries at all).

I'm currently in the process of switching over everyone I follow onto here too and I ran into the same issue of finding you instead. :P I just luckily thought to check their Patreon name as well and that worked out.

You might want to direct them to @jasperbro.bsky.social since that's where said artist actually is.

You appear to have given yourself the same profile name, "Mr. Cass" as the art account Lewd_bunnie on Twitter. A lot of people are likely transferring their follows over to Bsky using the Sky Follower Bridge and hitting "Follow All", which is mistaking you for said Twitter artist.

You're getting the followers because you have manedpizzawolf mentioned in your profile bio, which is being picked up by the Sky Follower Bridge app, making it think you're that artist. And people are just clicking Follow All on it.

I think it's because people are using the automatic Sky Follower Bridge app to follow artists they know from Twitter. And it's pulling you up as glassesdumpster since you have their name in your profile description.
