I think that's fair, sometimes it doesn't resonate on a first go with a lot of anime lately. This is also the thing, there are a lot of anime I can't recommend on account of the rules. A lot of anime these days are either too short or too long. Hmm.

Oh, Pluto might not be bad actually. The anime looks pretty good and is faithful to the source material, but you might not enjoy it if you don't really fw Astro Boy or darker takes on him.

If it weren't 28 episodes long, I'd recommend the first season of Frieren if you haven't already seen it, but when I try and think of something that's like, 12 to 13 episodes long, that's probably tougher. I remember really adoring Hamatora back in 2014?
