Just a short 5+ mile (round trip) hike up Alger Alps today, having my son educate me on local fungi. It was a beautiful day and much needed. But lemme tell you, those inclines were no joke!

I have an obsession with tree stumps. The stories they tell. I spent the day hiking at Alger Alps, with my husband and son. We saw numerous types of mushrooms, as well as countless types of fauna and flora. The PNW never fails to mesmerize! Then there were the fae homes, so there’s that.
