I look at the photo and notice the pretty cool outfit, the white hair, the pointy ears, and I'm trying to figure out how in the hell that could be construed as blackface. Homegirl is delegitimizing the true horrid practice of blackface by falsely weaponizing it...which in itself IS racist.

So they couldn't think of a way to...I don't know...use the wood for building permanent structures like housing? I know that affordable housing is not an issue in Japan but there are plenty of places in the world for which it is. Unbelievable decision.
