Agree. I believe a lot of those Covid funds went to developers. He’d much rather build a crazy tunnel under the 401 (developer buddies win!!) than reduce classroom sizes so those ‘commie’ teachers can make a difference. And they wonder why the poor EQAO results with 30+ kids in a class…🤦

Look at the divide between Provinces now with Ontario’s auto sector up against Saskatchewan’s interests, Alberta’s oil or PQ’s dairy industry. Carney recognizes the quickest path for research improvements is bypassing the Provincial fighting and issuing visas. Ford is anti education anyway.

It can’t increase without Provincial approvals. The Province’s are very protective of their powers. Ford for example would view a ‘Liberal’ federal government bypassing Provincial funding as interference. You see this with other agreements such as transportation and agriculture agreements.

It’s called having Provincial/Federal laneways. Thats the way it works. Move one inch into a Provincial responsibility and see what happens. The only thing the Fed’s can do is make immigration for researchers easier. Your fight is with Ford, Smith and the rest of the premier’s.

The problem with South and Central America is until recently there is no happy medium - it’s either a right wing strong man / military junta or a left wing populist/communist. Even when it’s a democracy like Brazil we see how close it can be to overthrown by US support because they hate leftists.

Is Maduro any worse than Trump? I’ll remind you that US oil companies raped this country of oil assets pre 1999. They took 90% of the revenue from the oil they took. They wouldn’t negotiate a 60/40 split. They even ordered hit’s on Hugo, (unsuccessful). US hegemony strikes again.

No offence but don’t be a drama queen. Is your phone 10 years old?? It’s your app’s that take far more storage space up and videos or photos than the operating system. Here’s my stats and I’m using iOS 26.1 on an iPhone 16 Pro.

I’d be happy if Apple would can their dumb HEIC picture format that doesn’t play nice with other devices and programs unless you use conversion software. It actually doesn’t save much file space.
