I mean, I'm just saying! I'm not forcing you to do or like anything! It's my opinion. Like whatever you like man and express whatever series you like. I used to be a fan of... well not Hazbin Hotel, but Helluva Boss so I can see the appeal!

Professionals can still help professionals be masters at their craft.

Look, clearly telling from your numerous posts you're a fan of the Helluvaverse and clearly you have a shtick for replying to criticism comments.

Yes but changes can still be made. And I don't mean just random strangers, just professionals in general.

Kirby Fighters done by Masahiro Sakurai would be a DREAM if executed correctly!

So if you let all your rage out then you become flat-chested? I'll have a sister.

See ya lovelies when I post actual art and not a whole rant. Bai!

But I've already said enough. I just hope for Season 3, Vivziepop realizes how to accept criticism while still keeping to the core of the series. Hazbin Hotel's core premise is one that has a lot of potential that, while being expanded on, isn't expanded upon as much as it could be.

There's a lot more I want to say. Such as the fight choreography being insanely good or the cliffhanger being a great cliffhanger. And one thing that I will say is that the sexual abuse things with Angel Dust are hit and miss (coming from a groomed individual).
November 24, 2025 at 6:06 AM
Great bit of worldbuilding! The writers working on Hazbin Hotel just need to fine tune it.

Now for the music, and this may be controversial. I didn't like the music compared to Season 1 or even the pilot. But I still think it was good. Just not my cup of tea is all!

Now. For swearing. This is an issue that has been discussed since Hazbin's conception and I want to give my own take. I don't think it's bad that Hazbin Hotel swears a lot. I think it can work in fact. Learning in Season 1 that having Hell swear a fuckton and Heaven swear very less so was a-

When they do expand upon it after many episodes of no build up it's in the final two episodes. Admittedly, having Abel stand up to Lute and finally putting his foot down is impactful, but could've been more weight had there been more time seeing Lute and Abel's relationship.

And some of these subplots... I would've really loved to see. Especially the Lute subplot where Lute wishes for revenge against Charlie Morningstar, wanting to make her feel the same pain she had felt when they took Adam. Almost, and almost, completely trashed.

-original. Some of which, don't even get expanded upon. Some of which go very fast. Some of which don't even have set ups. You need set ups for twists. Angel Dust having a headache in one episode doesn't count as "foreshadowing" for him being hypnotized into working as a spy for the Vees.

However, it does have some faults with the writing. I don't think the writers have ever heard of "show, don't tell" and as a novice writer I have learned that this is an easier said than done aspect to accomplish but still one to be criticized. There's also a ton of subplots. Way more than the-

Runs the risk of not delivering a full product in the end and I believe this is what happened with Season 2.

I do think the writing has gotten a tad better. The pacing is slower, dialogue hits more, and I could see a clearer story being told to me.
November 24, 2025 at 6:06 AM
When watching Season 2, a feeling came to me that is still held afterwards that instead of taking the time to take in criticism, they immediately jumped ahead to make this new season. This is great for the fans in my eyes. Giving them new content is always a pleasant site but-

But by the time Season 2 rolled around, I didn't quite care, sweeping it under the rug. I eventually did watch it however and all in all my final statement before I get into the long specifics:

It's definitely an improvement, but a more subtle one than expectations held.

-them more than the given amount of episodes and this statement carries with Season 2.

The music I do feel was a phenomenal asset of the first Season as well and I found myself relistening to quite a lot of the songs in my spare time.
November 24, 2025 at 6:06 AM
While the pacing was bad, the subplots were way too many, and the swearing was very constant, the tone shifted many times, I still thought there was a good base set with a good arc and a natural ending and transition into Season 2 albeit very rough around the edges that could be fix had Prime given-

In terms of the writing, this is the thing a lot of people criticize about. While I did think Season 1's writing was a large issue, I think the viewers commenting on the overall structure was a bloated statement when I watched it and one I still hold to this day.

The animation I feel was still good. Just a step down from Vivziepop's classic artstyle, but still good. I could imagine it'd be harder to consistently animate certain character designs and animation traits and Vivzie's animation style naturally evolved like all of us.
November 24, 2025 at 6:06 AM
And on the note of the music of the pilot it didn't interest me that much. I never thought it was awful but I wouldn't relisten.

Season 1 rolled around and due to the masses giving it attention both good and bad I made myself give it a watch. It was a mid-tier show for me.
November 24, 2025 at 6:06 AM
I never enjoyed the pilot contrary to the general high or average amounts of praise the audience or reviewers seemed to give it at the time. I did like the animation style, but it did seem more like that average Disney XD like artstyle, just with an edgy twist. The pilot didn't seem to pull me in.
