I don't hate Star Trek or Star Trek Academy. It's just that none if holds my interest anymore. I can still watch the old stuff and be happy. I just wish that Paul Giammatti's character was a descendant of Paul Hunham.

Been rewatching some of the old Flash Gordon serial, the first one. Not seen it in a long time, and I have to say, I definitely respect it more now. Sure, the dialogue may be a bit silly and the effects dated badly at times, but you can't discount the effort and conviction of the actors.
