I’m trying not to stare at people’s plates now that I’m at the GamesMeet and have different Germans to study, but no jam near the cheese yet!

They built it to be a whole 4 metres above NAP (Amsterdam Ordnance Datum) !

Can’t believe they don’t do that!
They weren’t particular glaring, probably because there was something added in to the white. I’m sure thought went into the change but when the low sun hits the white on dark screen, the text is unreadable.

Sint-Maarten is a Dutch *regional* celebration and Leiden is absolutely not one of those regions. Can’t speak to the contents of the note without seeing it though. :)

The verkenner / coalition scout has been appointed. And Yeşilgöz has just repeated that the VVD won’t go in a coalition with GroenLinks/PvdA. “It wasn’t about Timmermans, it’s about the ideas.”
I’m not keen on the verkenner (he’s head of the NS) but I’m feeling sorry for him now!
