I was invited to collect my 30yr bar and recognition coin. Unfortunately I was away for the ceremony so I asked my son to collect it for me. He's a FF at Selby where I started my career nearly 31 years ago! #firefighter

FBU annual conference 2025 is underway in Blackpool.
The conference opened as it always does with a minute of silence. This year was especially poignant, as we remembered the sacrifice of Jennie Logan and Martyn Sadler, who died at a fire incident in Bicester, Oxfordshire on Thursday.
