this was probably the only time i had a good go at DnD, under a GM who very explicitly was like "we're doing E6 low-fantasy so if someone has access to fireball that's practically a fucking nuke."

its like how most isekai anime slop just makes me think the writer isn't confident in showing their own worldbuilding, so they HAVE to filter it through an isekai lens.
