fought a yellow Flan that takes 1 damage from physical attacks. all my magic dealers are dead. Heals itself to full with Thundara and never runs out of MP. Combo does 5 dmg... it's against the law in this fight. I speedbreak it so I can get it within 5 hp in 10 turns and had to break the law to win

Watched Tokyo Drifter (1966). Did not follow the story at all, as in there was so much convoluted yakuza plotting the movie then just starts throwing crazy absurdist action scenes to distract me even more. This movie needs to calm down.

saw Pale Flower, going from 40s films to the 60s is such a jump that in my mind the new wave cinema was the only significant change in films.

watched Kurosawa's Stray Dog (1949) I like that it's about a guy just looking for his gun and it ends up way more interesting than the usual hard boiled detective story.
