Last year was my first time and the Scalzi Nerd Prom was a lot of fun. The shear joy of spending a week with a community of welcoming, non-judgmental nerds = my most relaxing vacation in years! (And why I immediately booked for 2026.)

My experience from this year is that he hangs out, signs things, reads future books to a rapt audience, introduces us to other great up and coming authors and, my favorite, DJ-ing a dance party on the back deck!

I have recommended “Fuzzy Nation” to all my lawyer friends. I told them it’s the best space lawyer book they will ever read. (And I tell my Star Trek friends to get the audio book version so they can hear the mean prank you pulled on Wil Wheaton!) 😃
