Does this mean taking low-res captures/screenshots of that section of the view, blurring it, and putting it as the background of the view? Or is it something else?

Looks very cool 👓 By any chance, are you pushing for it to be included in the official Compose APIs? Blur is quite commonly used and Compose Multiplatform doesn't have a great in-built support for it yet.
