...and that really confirms all my suspicions about what my parents think about my personal pastime. I have a brother who does TKD and tricking, one who's a speed cuber, and my sister plays collegiate rugby. Sure, fursuit dance is out of the box, but I feel like she's not giving it the same respect.

...but any reference I make to Mel, Reven, or just being a part of the fandom got dismissed like she's not even trying to meet me halfway on what I'm doing with my time outside of this immediate project. She never used either character's name, just "the blue one" or "the dinosaur"...
