Really fucked up (posi) that this, Skate Story, and Unbeatable all came out in the last two days. Loved the demo and am an Ys I & II sicko so I'm positive that Angeline Era will be one of my favorites of the year.

Sounds like you have to play the story mode to unlock most of the songs, so seems like a perfectly valid complaint if the story mode is so uneven.

Maybe we'll finally hear from Rob on the regular pod *this* week.

Analogue loves to do this shit, it's their favorite.

Hell yeah dude, it's such a good time. One of the most creative and gripping intros to a game I've played this year too.

Hell yeah, had a similar older model that wasn't OLED but had HDR1000. It kicked ass until it suddenly stopped working, apparently the gsync module going bad was a somewhat common issue, hopefully that's been fixed. But hey it going bad caused me to replace it with a really nice Alienware OLED.

Air Riders event, pretty fun way to play City Trials.

Great read, having similar conflicting feelings about it. Got my 1st win last night but it felt more like I lucked into an OP build than played well. I think it has some design issues but it is still sticking in my brain like few games do. Certainly helps that the visuals and music are phenomenal.

I dunno I don't think there's anything more boring than this kind of thoughtless shitting on Kingdom Hearts, they're very good and goofy action RPGs and are extremely popular for a reason.

Dang, between this, Rhythm Storm, and Evil Egg we're really in a golden age of arcade-style shooters with ridiculous visuals.

Yeah hard to think of what they could do that's truly innovative. My best guess is a focus on NPC AI and even higher fidelity physics tied to gameplay systems, so pretty much HL2 but with today's tech.

Been getting back into TotK the last couple days and continue to put off beating it even though I'm right at the end, I just love being in that world too much.

Also checked out Morsels which dropped today. I really like its look but not convinced on how it plays, it feels purposefully confusing.

I haven't been in the market for PC parts in a minute so I could be way off, but my gut tells me we'll be lucky if the base model is somewhere around $600.

It's in fucking notepad and paint.

Also their fault that the first couple trailers had no hint of NPCs and had that sense of isolation that a lot of fans are looking for. Just very confused about what to expect at this point, hoping the NPC interaction stuff turns out to be minimal.

Apparently the overview trailer shows four federation soldiers so my hope is you have to rescue them at the start of a new zone then leave them in a hub so you can do the majority of the exploration alone. I really hope this isn't just cope.

Another fucking Quest exclusive, how annoying
November 13, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Holy shit, that sure is a lot of words. I gotta go back and play more of this sometime, it's real neat.

got super back into Mahjong Soul these last couple weeks and found out it has a Balatro in it now

Got a few nice ones myself! Could barely see it with the naked eye but the Night Sight mode on my Pixel did a great job.

Looked up that Misery business (heh) and it sounds like GSC may have proper reason to issue a takedown, and also at least one of the devs seems like not a great person! www.notebookcheck.net/Indie-game-M...
