I don't have it in me to do it again, personally. I know that sometimes you only get what you fight for, but I'm tired.

I'm tired still. After messaging everyone individually with evidence and explaining the issues, then all the harassment and the emails and the death threats, feeling liking no one cared after when I left for six months, that the blow-up didn't fix the community and that the therapy didn't fix me.

Because book discourse yesterday and today is apparently about if pirating is ever ethical. 🙃

This was a seven-month wait, which is completely normal, but these poems were written during the first year of my MFA, so I'd kinda pulled them from my manuscript, and now they're going back in I guess? 🤯
