yes!! like i came into the final game with high hopes because i remember the main quest/epilogue of hades being soooo good and satisfying… man, even the little character side quests are disappointing. every single one is like whelp! oh well! nothing to do here! guess we’ll stick with the status quo!

i’m VERY curious to see your opinion on their treatment of melinoë and her story vs zagreus and his since you’ll be fresh. i last played hades 5 years ago and had to be reminded of that story and all the little side stories but once i remembered it felt. bad. but also sooo fun still highly recommend

i would do anything for thanatos. icarus……… the slog is real. he’s clearly a viable love interest for melinoë but i do not have the same taste as her and cannot care. and he shows up a lot!! he just has SO much dialogue to get through to unlock him uuuuuuuuugh

i’m not bitter about it. if you want to talk about bitter, maybe spend some time with the mother who missed the childhood of her first child and then missed the childhood of her second child and then was like “oh well, guess i won’t even get my own relationship or keepsake either for this game lmao”

hades 2 was very fun except for the story and the treatment of their female characters and how i called the thing with hecate immediately and then was like, “oh, never mind, the official splash art for the game has her with two green eyes,” which is just straight-up wrong and i was right all along

will this bitch just please show up. i don’t even care anymore i just want the icon on my keepsake cabinet and i want the last purchasable figurine
