Today is the inaugural World Psycho-Oncology Day! Researchers from SHORE-C have been working in Psycho-Oncology since the 1980s and we hope this international recognition will lead to greater awareness of the need for psychosocial support in cancer care and the progress made in the last 40 years.

SHORE-C's Principal Research Fellow Sally Wheelwright attended the EORTC Quality of Life Group meeting in Rotterdam 27th-28th March along with over 200 colleagues from across the globe. She presented findings from her EORTC-funded project to develop a curriculum for quality of life in oncology.
