I get why civil war letters home in the Ken Burns documentary were so flowery but to the point. “My ass is wedged into this seat with bonds only omnipotence can break.”

Felt it in my entire ass once when we touched down and got smacked with wind sheer so we accelerated at a near 30 degree angle without word from the cockpit. Pulled some Gs I never expected and texted my wife what happened and that I loved her just in case. Really went over well, lol.
