Altman recalled people reaching out to OpenAI saying, “I had this crazy health condition… I put my symptoms into ChatGPT… and now I’m cured.” “This has gone really well so far,” he said. “Better than I would have thought.” By the end, he’d pivoted fully back to promise and prediction. “In five years,” Altman said, “I hope they’re curing diseases.” Fallon smiled, the audience cheered, and the segment closed with Fallon telling his guest to “Hug that little baby of yours.”
