Yeah, and it's acutely a problem with accessories because small, ornate detail is a defining characteristic of real jewelry but a GPU destroyer lol. So when people want to wear "nice quality" jewelry virtually and don't know much about 3d performance, it's a mess

It also saps the joy out of exploration and makes it hard to push towards large goals, because you always question if you're going to put your effort towards the right things. Even if you really can't know until you're in the midst of it. Maybe I'm just going through a crisis of purpose now lol
