I read this book to my son when he was a baby and toddler. It is a wonderful board book. Great for kids. I brought it back out tonight bc a refresher was good for us both. Thank you, @innosantonagara.bsky.social

From my memories on that other site, lol.

Yesterday was for making treats with friends. The end result was enough to drop 36 Wilford Brimleys.
A table full of Christmas treats. Gingerbread men, sugar, and shortbread cookies decorated by kids and moms alike. Monster cookies, chocolate dipped pretzel rods, peppermint bark, puppy chow, buckeyes, Ritz and Rolos, and white chocolate, cranberry cookies. 😳

A poem dated 8-28-2020 in this dream, a black person said to me, "do you know why nothing has changed? a white musician released an album and none of the tracks are about how we clean the glass out of the streets." my heart is heavy, but the hearts of my friends of color are infinitely heavier and we continue to ask them to bear the burden of helping us fix our own mess. when will we face and erase the ugliness within ourselves?
