I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

Bonjour à tou·te·s, Nous sommes l’équipe de Review de SpeeDons. Pour contexte : nous sommes des membres actif·ive·s de la communauté speedrun. Au sein de SpeeDons, nous sommes chargé·e·s de récolter les candidatures, analyser les runs qui nous sont proposées, et forger le planning du marathon, et ce depuis sa création. Ce message fait suite à la communication de Médecins du Monde du 13 Janvier. Les faits soulevés dans l’article de Médiapart paru en Novembre 2025 nous ont immédiatement interpellé·e·s. Ils ne reflètent pas les valeurs de respect humain, d’inclusivité et d’égalité auxquelles est attachée l’équipe de review. Nous avons sollicité les organisateurs de SpeeDons (MV & Guillaume) dès la parution de cet article pour faire part de nos inquiétudes quant aux valeurs défendues par Médecins du Monde. Nous leur avons également demandé une communication transparente, avec nous et avec le public de SpeeDons. Nous avons été profondément déçu·e·s par l’absence de communication officielle jusqu’à la publication de la lettre ouverte du collectif Speedonnons Mieux. Déception accentuée à la découverte du contenu de la réponse de Médecins du Monde le 13 Janvier. Nous sommes conscient·e·s de son impact sur la communauté, et souhaitons nous exprimer à ce sujet et notamment concernant la campagne de candidatures qui devait ouvrir ce soir. Au-delà de notre implication dans SpeeDons, nous sommes avant tout des personnes passionnées, engagées dans le speedrun et dans différentes associations et collectifs. Depuis 6 ans, nous mettons notre énergie, notre passion et notre engagement au profit de l’événement, tout en faisant transparaître nos valeurs dans le planning. Nous voulons présenter un marathon inclusif, faisant la part belle à la diversité de la communauté francophone, tout en assurant le respect et le bien-être de tou·te·s les participant·e·s dans un espace sécurisant. Soucieux·euses de poursuivre notre rôle sans compromettre nos valeurs, nous avons pris la décision de reporter à une date ultérieure l’ouverture des candidatures pour l’édition 2026. Nous attendons de la part de l’organisation et de Médecins du Monde une communication conjointe, transparente, qui saura redonner confiance dans l’association et réaffirmer les valeurs que nous souhaitons porter. Nous reviendrons vers vous dès que nous aurons plus de détails à communiquer. Nous vous remercions de votre compréhension. Top of my head: in Duck Hunt, the duck can be controlled by the 2nd controller (the manual even says so)

In the NES port of Galaxian, there's a hidden track in the data which is a rendition of a track from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (it's on the tcrf page for this game)
