The pot (with roasted free range chicken wings ) is awaiting the addition of the rest of them hen (neck and organs are already in) and water to slow simmer the rest of the evening for homemade chicken stock for dressing & gravy

Also in the vein of Thanksgiving prep,I have made a Cornish game hen for dinner which I will serve with broccoli and lemon and whose carcass will go into the stock.

So in that schedule I’m am starting the chutney. It has fresh oranges, fresh ginger, sultanas, dried apricots, apple brandy, brown sugar, and cayenne pepper (it’sa little spicy).

The more I look at it, the more I think those stairs are going down, which erases my complaints about travel distances and exit doors because who the heck even knows.
