It may seem counterintuitive to you, but actually #1 is extremely BAD advice, and the fact that most Dem electeds agree with it is the main cause of the party's unpopularity.

Every kid has a right to a good education. Private schools should be abolished. Homeschooling as well. Rich peoples' kids should be forced to go to public schools.

Also, all schools should be funded by the federal government (i.e. not local property taxes), so no more rich schools and poor schools
