Just performed at the Young Poets Takeover! Had an absolute blast listening to so many brilliant poems by fellow poets!
I read my poem 'to my painter' published in The Crossroads Review.
Really appreciated all the kind responses, and wanted to showcase them a bit!

Immensely excited to share that my haiku is in Modern Haiku Issue 56.3 🎉. Endless gratitude to editor Paul Miller for accepting my haiku.

This experience did bring a question to mind; is shorter poetry harder to write than longer poetry?
would love to hear your opinions!

to my painter,
— by Sheza T,
published in The Crossroads Review

A body and soul moulded, varnished, and displayed to please others under obsessive domination.
an elegy on control, objectification and the fickle nature of being a ‘muse.’

thrilled to hear your take and any stories it sparks! 🌌🏮
