She Says
@shesayssheshant.bsky.social
This IS who we are, but we should try to be better anyway. Cynical idealist and lover of words and details with more cats than you.
She's the same one who thinks it's fine and dandy if Republican men rape girls the same age as her daughter, right?

Imagine having a functional government that actually responds to real problems instead of pandering to imaginary grievance issues while actively trying to kill a good chunk of its people.

Every time I see this, I keep wondering where these doctors are who can see someone at a moment's notice under our current system. I think I got one of my kids in the same day *once* when he had persistent pneumonia. Isn't that why we have so many walk-in clinics?

Someone said every visual of him makes him look like a Make a Wish kid surrounded by people who know he'll dead soon so why not humor him and now I can't unsee it.

Maybe Durbin can write him a strongly worded letter. He's sent several to the open criminals on high court and we can all see how well that's worked out.

This assholery only spotlights how small and petty these sad people are. Levine was the voice of calm in PA during the height of COVID and earned that step up to the federal level. Her utter unflappability in the face of such ugliness shows she's braver than they could ever pretend to be.

For the love of all ... please please please don't make me be on the side of some of the worst crazy-ass self-hating Republican women pick-mes. Looks around. Dammit.

"Somebody else save us from the spineless choice I made when all common sense and decency told me not to!"
December 5, 2025 at 5:44 PM
That's pretty much white conservative men in general. Most women have a story or four about that.

Miners overwhelming voted for him because he made a lot of promises about giving them their coal jobs back so they wouldn't have to train to learn any new job skills. Whoops.
December 2, 2025 at 12:48 AM
She wants so badly to be Irma Grese in this terrible remake.
December 2, 2025 at 12:40 AM
I'm a proofreader (dying trade, I know) and I know I'm showing my age when the young 20 somethings at my work can't read my notes and apply them to fix anything without first copying and pasting what I wrote and asking me to just tell them what I need them to do. It's bad.

I still grieve for the America that could have been had the rent-a-judges parked on the current Supreme Court not helped steal that election. All the hell and misery that's being inflicted now doesn't happen without everyone seemingly collectively shrugging and allowing them to do it.

So will she just throw it in the rubble of the East Wing and be done with it?
November 24, 2025 at 5:42 PM
It really is Whitewash War Criminals Week between this and feting terrorists and murderers at the rubble that was the White House.

Has Speaker Lap Dog managed to not see these messages too?
November 12, 2025 at 5:47 PM
The running joke in my family has long been that my mom married my dad for indoor plumbing and central heat. In the rural Midwest in 1970. In my own lifetime we had family who still depended on outhouses.

Have they considered actual uniforms and ID? That would seem to help prevent that.
November 8, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Like nearly every other miserable Republican, he only realized it when it came for one of his own. They're always fine with whatever carnage they unleash until it bites *them.*
November 4, 2025 at 1:07 PM
It's hard to imagine the tangerine tyrant saying anything worse than what Cheney actually was. That the cult of death and lies that Cheney helped build the Republican party into eventually came for his daughter doesn't let him off the hook as a primary architect of the carnage we're now living in.

I'd never heard of the MOVE bombings in Philadelphia until I moved to PA a dozen years ago. That sent me down a rabbit hole of finally understanding that our government really is just fine with that level of violence against its own people.
October 30, 2025 at 7:26 PM
Didn't we already try that? That's why 40 plus million people in this country are about to be cut off from their food support.
October 29, 2025 at 10:45 PM
I suppose if nothing else this era of open corruption and bribery is at least exposing just how beyond terrible some of the truly terrible very rich the GOP slobbers over really are.
