I’m falling back on social media today as a distraction. I think it’s going to probably be Gibson’s last day on this earth and he’s napping in my lap right now. I had a full screaming/crying/throwing up break down this morning, but I know he’s going to be at peace soon.

A dump truck rolled over in front of our neighbor’s house. It felt and sounded like a huge explosion. I took off running across the yards, climbed on top of the truck and pulled the door open. Police and fire arrived right as I was climbing back down. Dude is gonna be okay. What a crazy morning. Wow

GOOD NEWS! Gibson just left his cardiologist appointment and his heart is okay! 🙏 he has hyperthyroidism and we are going to treat it and he’s going to be okay!

Gluten free shapes are pretty limited. I can get a farfalle that’s decent. I did recently discover a place making mafalda which is pretty passable.

I figured, fuck it, can’t hurt to try to wash them. Fished them out of the trash, scrubbed them in the sink with hot water and dish soap. Left them in the sun all day. They don’t even smell like piss anymore!

Shout out to my cat for getting his cone off in the middle of the night and then going on a rampage- pissing on my suede Manolo Blahniks. They were thrifted, somewhat uncomfy and they squeaked when I wore them (maybe like 3x a year), but they were so cute.
