My guy went to bed, and last I knew, the doggo followed him to the bedroom. I learned otherwise when the doggo snored and scared me because I didn’t know she was in the room with me.

The full moon was last week, we’re coming off the holidays, and I expected a nice, quiet Friday. I most certainly did not receive a nice, quiet Friday.

First 5k of the year today went about as well as can be expected, having not been running since last summer and having taken the month of December off from the gym…but I didn’t die. And the weather was perfect.

It’s homemade coffee liqueur time! This family recipe is by far the best thing I got out of the divorce. This batch with Cafe Bustelo espresso should be ready just in time for Christmas.

I was so very tired, so I came to get ready for bed. And then I spotted a 6” brown lizard on our bedroom curtain. After 10 minutes, it was captured…and I’m now wide awake.
