We moved back to Montreal and I'm pretty content with that decision.
(Now we just need a place to live but for the moment I'm grateful that we can stay with my in-laws)

With all the stories of Canadians being detained without cause by ICE while traveling in the US, I honestly can not believe the Canadian government has not yet issued a travel advisory on its site. At the very least, it should be at a yellow (caution) level by now.

I'm scared because the weather outside is very spring-like this morning. But I'm Canadian so I KNOW this is false spring and we'll get at least one big snowstorm soon.
For now I'll just pretend this is real spring though. It was a beautiful walk.

I guess the bright side is that all the stress in my own life plus all the horrors of the world lately have really pushed me to get out and take longer walks. The beautiful weather is helping make that easier. It's been great for my head AND my dog

Felt stressed about all the things on my plate right now. A nice walk with the dog in nice warm, sunny weather really perked me up

My husband tried making eggs and cheese on toast in the air fryer and they're so good I made some for myself today too. Press a glass into the bread, crack egg into the indent, top with shredded cheese. I do mine at 350° for 11 minutes (soft but not runny yolk).

A lot of our ice and snow has melted. The ground is disgustingly soggy but I'm so happy to feel safe walking instead of worrying I was going to slip and fall all the time

I've been incredibly sad the past couple of days but this morning I woke up and realized someone else's issue with me is their own and it doesn't have to be mine. Gave me space to focus on my family, myself, and some big changes coming up. Today I am grateful to breathe fully and easily for ME.
