Maybe, maybe not--first time I've ever heard it --and I lived many years in Illinois (a lot closer to Michigan). BTW--those 'in bud' hollyhocks I've been watching closely finally have some color. Photography is not the best, but here is a sample.

Here's something a little different from politics for a change. My granddaughter and her son came visiting from out of town. Mom wanted some quiet activity for a while so we all three did some art. Here are 3 generations of art for today.
