I started a medication that in theory, if it works, could return my heart to a normal rate. I’m still taking beta blockers. I don’t know if this is a concern because no one is following this. Not the dr who prescribed it, not my cardiologist, not my GP. Just me and my gc girlies against the world.

Our conservative run neighbour has rapid tests for free. Please take a minute to ask the @susanholtnb.bsky.social government why it is not possible for us to have the same. (That’s it)

Oops the reason I posted this was to say that we’ve had the busiest day since January in terms of mask distro. People want to be safe.

This year has been a ride and a half, and those two months almost broke me. People need to be aware. If I hadn't been SO sure it was IBC, I probably wouldn't have been so persistent, but there was no way I was letting it go. I was glad to be wrong.

I contacted the patient advocate, who didn't read what I wrote at all. Instead of responding to the systemic issues that I was trying to get addressed, they told me they couldn't speed up my appointment. When I wrote back clarifying I wasn't asking for a quicker appointment, there was no response.

Thank you. It was the worst two months I've ever experienced. I've never been so stressed out in my life, and it should've been so much easier than it was. Healthcare cannot be run like a business. You cannot look for efficiencies by blindly cutting and changing procedure. People die.

Fast diagnosis and treatment is imperative. This delay in diagnosis could have killed me. I don't have cancer, thankfully. This never should have been so difficult or time consuming. My GP did everything she could to speed it up. Stop half-assing procedure changes. It kills people.
