Of course it escalated. Because in today’s America, step out of line, and the man comes to take you away.

This protest was peaceful. The escalation didn’t come from the crowd, it came from law enforcement. People gathered on public property to speak out against an unjust detention. They were met with armored vehicles, riot gear, and chemical agents. It was excessive. It was avoidable.

I hate looking out of date, but I have a good-sized backlist and I really don't want to spend a lot of money redoing covers when this could be another trend that soon ends. Authors in this boat, what are you doing? Readers, do you avoid the non-cartoon covers 2/2
