They have very rapidly become a waste of oxygen, even back in the day when I was working around these groups from the 3 main parties they had very little comprehension. They mostly kowtow to the party hierarchy out of fear.

If only you knew the 24 years of stuff I did both UK & internationally then your attitude might be more understanding. Confrontation & in the front line was second nature & everyday given the visibility. Never judge someone by what you have no knowledge of. Turmoil, every time I step outside.

Exactly, We get a news story & in the hour it's been shared with comments by 20+ folk. How many folk are influenced by my take on something? Yes I am sometimes guilty of posting a sarcastic meme just for ratio & support. I had 15 years of quite serious activism, now my health dictates what I can do.

When one writes a positive account like you have certainly not blowing you own trumpet, it's uplifting & often inspiring for folk. These are the things that show life for us can be normal. Like you I had a very public facing job & met literally 1000's of folk from all over the world over 14 years.
