That's such a sad story with Nephin. We were there in 2018 right before the stills were supposed to arrive. Mark showed us around and everything seemed to be okay. We also visited the cooperage which is now known as Dair Nua.

That's really sad. I love the variety of different styles of whiskeys like more oats in the mashbill or Copeland"s chocolate malt

For me January always seems to be everlasting. I know it has the same amount of days like March but still this month always feels longer. Maybe because of the darkness

In two weeks I'm at whisky fair in Nürnberg "The Village" They have Ireland as a them this year. Let's see. Germany's focus is still on Scottish whisky.

I wanted to buy it in a local shop but they didn't ordered it because they hardly sell the other ones. There is not enough advertisement for Dingle in Germany I guess

I was offered a cask a few times but what am I supposed to do with 300 bottles in the end. Some offer to buy the cask back with interest after a few years. Some friends of mine did that but directly with the distillery no middle man is involved

What I don't get is, when I want to buy a cask why not talk directly to the distillery? I know Boann offers casks to private people. And if I want to participate in a cask share I would be very careful who I chose
