Without efforts to curtail Kennedy’s actions much more harms could be done to health. For example under his tenure a gutted CDC struggles to keep track of infections such as avian flu as cases in birds increase exponentially and measles continues to rip through unvaccinated populations in the US 😔

Congressional Action is another way as the Senate has the power to reject any recommendations made by committees under his leadership. Oversight hearings into the turmoil at the CDC could also potentially lead to further congressional action like impeachment.

His activities should be challenged and stopped - there are routes to this. He is unlikely to resign and Trump seems pretty happy with him so unlikely to sack him. Another route is he could be impeached- this is unusual but possible. There is a petition here

These meetings could further lay the path for him to disrupt vaccine schedules and remove access to swathes of vaccines

Before voting on access to the hepatitis B vaccine which SHOULD have been decided last meeting but his inexperienced ACIP could not agree and didn’t know what they were doing

The next ACIP meeting scheduled early December will ‘report’ on other targets of anti-vaxers that Kennedy has consistently championed including use of adjuvants and vaccine schedule

Indeed- Johnson’s effective and at times actual absence through January/February was devastating for the UK

Meanwhile cases of measles are increasing in US (and imported cases to Canada also) in unvaccinated individuals. Multiple kids have been hospitalised . This is what Kennedy SHOULD focus on - not pushing a disinformation agenda
