It's even worse when you consider that Canada still provides fossil fuel subsidies (tax breaks etc.), even though #JustinTrudeau promised to eliminate them in his 2015 election campaign. Another campaign promise he just didn't get around to (and #MarkCarney won't)

Back seat monitoring wouldn't be so bad if they were smarter. Eg mine warns me if I fold down the back seat - obviously there's no kid there if I've put the seat down. It would serve the purpose if they were only enabled if seat-belts were latched - all parents buckle in their kids, right?

Just like #JustinTrudeau, though, he no doubt realizes that his party could say goodbye to those false majorities that they and the Conservatives have swapped back and forth as long as Canada has existed.
I agree, we need #ProportionalRepresentation. I just can't see it happening.
