It's even worse when you consider that Canada still provides fossil fuel subsidies (tax breaks etc.), even though #JustinTrudeau promised to eliminate them in his 2015 election campaign. Another campaign promise he just didn't get around to (and #MarkCarney won't)

Back seat monitoring wouldn't be so bad if they were smarter. Eg mine warns me if I fold down the back seat - obviously there's no kid there if I've put the seat down. It would serve the purpose if they were only enabled if seat-belts were latched - all parents buckle in their kids, right?

If #DougFord goes ahead with his plans to scrap fixed term elections, it could be five years before we get another chance to give him and his government the boot.

Of course, Alberta sees that as just more gasoline sales, so a win-win. Never mind that the planet is burning.
