The children's area was moved to downstairs so why not add a slide to get there? The renovation allowed for improved meeting spaces, a recording studio, a small business incubator, and a makerspace.

Children's area downstairs. The art installation planned by Carlyn Ray Designs with the individual acrylic letters painted by members of the community at branch library workshops last year. Slide to the children's area. Stair stepped sitting/reading area with multicolored cushions. Comfortable and numerous work areas are available along with individual seating areas to sit back and read as well. A recording studio is just one of the specialized rooms available. Besides books and DVD's the library also has board games, outdoor games, bake wear, and electronic items like stud finders and scientific calculators for checkout.

Found while walking around Fairbanks Alaska. A part of an American flag filling a small 6 panel window framed by a dark painted wood frame that is heavily weathered and peeling. The wall consists of square panels of sheet metal with the lowest panels stained, rusty. On the wooden walkway below are elk antlers and a large section of pipe.

I thought it was a decent turnout but left a little early to drive back. I joined the parade of traffic going by City Hall. Continuing north I kept expecting the crowd along the street and median to thin but it didn't. Was about a mile of people joining together. Great job #ColoradoSprings #NoKings

Twenty years ago I began the process of getting rid of a lawn that needed mowing. A lot of native or adapted drought tolerant plants though what grows and when it grows has shifted along with the climate here in NTX.
