It was the first piece of furniture that baby T.J. claimed. Fitting in a way. This was once my grandmother’s chair. T.J., as some may know and many were told, was born on what would have been my grandmother’s 91st birthday. So the kitten got my grandmother’s first and middle initials as a name.

When I’m single, always scheduled to work Thanksgiving and estranged from the non-sibling members of my family, this day is just like any other on the calendar … At least Sheetz is willing to provide a semi-traditional Thanksgiving meal in exchange for my money.
