RIGHT ACROSS from the Friendship Heights station, the old Chadwick’s which is now Aura and wow a huge space with the longest bar I’ve seen in this area.

I can’t tell if it’s Blade Runner or Logan‘s Run or A Clockwork Orange or even 2OO1: A Space Odyssey, but these Washington DC Metro stations are jaw-dropping sci-fi.

The super cozy bar at Tabbard Inn in Washington DC. Fireplace is around the corner and lots of people huddled around it. I biked here and wiped out once in the snow but didn’t fall!
