We often hear we need more empathy, but what is it exactly? It’s a multifarious answer. So I looked at it from various psychological and philosophical descriptions into a coherent post. I would’ve loved to add more elements such as descriptions from Carl Rogers, but perhaps that’s for another post.

Riding on the NY subway and I saw drawing meticulously making sure that each pencil drawing was in its particular line. Looks really good but seriously, how did you manage that with all the bumps, abrupt starts and stops, and the sharp turns?
