Well that's my story and I'm sticking to that.

I got 70 pages into a book and quite enjoying it before the author described The Fall as a 'poor man's Pavement'. It was in the charity shop the next morning.

Plausible, I was achingly hungover but managed to drag the name of Carter USM'S drummer out of the bag. Roy of the Rovers stuff.

Came second in the pub pop quiz that year. Still proud of that.

Amazing record. Lucky enough to have seen him touring this (at the old Brum Academy 2, maybe you were there?). What I remember most was him going 'So this is were Ozzy is from right?' to total silence and him having the shiniest hair I've ever seen.
